This will include a symposium on organic horticulture entitled 'Organic Horticulture for Wellbeing of the Environment and Population'. Additionally, there will be colloquia and workshops, ad hoc training sessions and technical tours. Technical tours will be accompanied by Turkish experts and include historical and cultural components.
Istanbul, the hosting city, is the commercial and financial center of modern Turkey, former capital of the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires and European Capital of Culture in 2010. Istanbul herself provides enchanting historical sites and modern attractions and sceneries for visitors. You can also take some time to discover the city and replenish your soul within the mysterious silhouettes of the old Genoese Tower, churches, palaces, minarets and ancient city walls. I am sure that you will feel at home with the globally known Turkish hospitality and enjoy yourself in this magnificent city.
